I have no story for it just yet...I'm working that all out right now....

NEW DEMO!!!! There are some bugs/glitches....still....

Final DEMO!
Contains 3 levels...one is a castle level!No bosses!
Do not tell me about the bullet glitch when you are big Mario....I made it that way so you have a chance to finish the second level....

So what do ya think of it....

The story will go something like Bowser transformed Mario into tiny size and placed him into a "pocket World" so to speak. Mario must then reach the end where he can grab "item" and make himself large and in color again!

Like I said,"I am working on all the details at the moment."

I work on this when I get bored or frustrated with RE 2D.

Theres a few problems:

Collisions with blocks can be kinda glitchy

The koopas are supposed to explode in a few seconds, not when they've been killed, and when the koopas explode, it's supposed to hurt if you're in the blast. But if it's supposed to be that way, nevermind.

But subtract that and this is great.

Anyway, game is pretty good, but it's kinda glitchey. Mostly getting stuck in walls. Also, try decrease the gravity level, I think it's better like that. Oh, and Mario should bounce off block when you hit under it, not stick on it. I quite like the level design in my opinion.

i cannot belive you used the TGF BUILT IN ENGINE. Why diddn't you use a static engine?. Their are several glitches in this game and now im going to list just a few of them:

1. Mario stops right in the air
2. mushrooms get stuck in walls
3. Mario get stuck in walls
4. Mario can only move in the Y axis when jumping infront of an obstacle (TGF BUILT-IN MOVEMENT BUG)

I too have played this game and unfortunately, I'm noticing a bunch of glitches in the general gameplay itself. sad.gif As others have said, there are many things that really need work. Hopefully they'll be taken care of when this game is finalized.

And on a side note -- did I see that "GAMEGIRL" font on the left side of the screen (in terms of the coin counter)...?

That font is the actual number font from SML for GB....
Thnaks for your comments.....I am really trying to understand the static engine thing....I work continue to work on fixing the bugs and glitches...

UPDATE!!!
New demo....Contains what could be a castle level in the final version....
Still glitches....I changed the collision on the castle level....
Is it better than the overworld collision?

Oh and to make the screen smaller if it is going slow just press the windows button by control and right click Mario's pock.....and select restore.The window should be really small. You can then resize it just by clicking and holding the edges....
