Fantastic Four 2 Review, it's a galactus gas gas gas :(

At least Cloud Galactus is better than Ultimate GAH LAK TUS. As much as I want to see him in full purple undergarments as the next Fantastic Four geek, I thought the cloud suited him well for the movie. You can just think of it as another universe like Ultimate Universe and the zombie universe and all that jazz. Anyways, even in the comic Galactus doesn't really have set form. Every race of beings see him differently because its hard for us to comprehend his real form.

I'm very surprised that this movie was even made. The first movie was pretty bad, and I would've never expected a sequel. But sure enough, the first movie made a ton of money. So it was only a few months until this one was on it's way.
So first off, this movie is better then the first one. It's more action packed, and less complaining about how the world hates them. My main concern is how they made Jessica Alba ugly. I don't know how they did it, but somehow she turned yellow with her fake tan. Something is also wrong with her lips, they're freaking huge. I don't know why someone would find that appealing, but wow those bloaters were ugly.
The movie is pretty much the same as the first. It tries to be the next Spiderman but falls very short. You get a boring baddie and the only real amazing shot is the end where the Silver Surfer saves the day. There's not a ton to say about this movie, because there's not much to it.

It's funnier and more understandable if it's in actual context.

I was never a fan of Fantastic Four/Silver Surfer so I don't really understand the disappointment with Galactus as you say, however I did understand that it was a terrible movie (though it was a great time waster when I was bored and it was 90F outside).

On the note of Galactus, did they actually call him by name in the movie? I don't remember them ever saying the name "Galactus," just "Devourer of Worlds" or something like that. Which makes it even sadder for Galactus fans, if the creature they fought in the film wasn't even Galactus at all.

They did call him by name.

Oh, when was that? I must have missed it.

When the Silver Surfer explained him to Alba's character (I don't even remember her name) and several other times, I think.

I wouldn't be suprised if you had fallen to sleep and missed it.

I think during that same conversation he also makes "ew" comments implying about them having sex, but I don't quite remember. Either way, you're right, it wasn't funny.
