If the improbable thing that I become mod or anything like such, I would hope people would be nicer to eachother, because honestly, the less we need a mod, the better. After all forum mods are nothing but janitors, there to clean up the crap from mistakes, more ill mannered members or such. Its not a position of glory or something. Its working with the dirt of the forum, the icky parts you'd rather not want here. Mods are also here to serve as a guidance to the newer members (and senior members too), so they have to act in a nice demeanor at most times, and that could take a toll. To be an moderator is not a pleasant job, you have to deal with dupes, flaming, people ***ing at you for doing x and y. And sometimes, when you ban someone you have as a friend, the friend might start resenting you for not giving them special treatment. To put it short: Don't take this too lightly, Shadowman is a cheery dude with lots of optimism. And when he gets crushed by this, you shouldn't jump in headfirst. Oh and if you up, expect massive complaints. Some of this is derived from what I experienced when I was a mod on a rather fiendish and hostile community. What's your problem? All you're doing is making things worse. There's a difference between having an opinion and being a jerk, you know. If you don't like Grant, that's fine. But don't yell at everyone that does.
