personally i dont even think request topics should be allowed on the arts board thanks to the GF. :P lots people just exploit them to get loads of crap without giving the artist anything in return. if they're that desparate they can just do PMs or something.

Well, that's a disappointment. I wanted to find out whether I actually had been out of line or whether you had been lying about me.

I honestly can't remember anything "vulgar, violent, and scary" that I ever sent you. In fact, I only remember sending you something like 2-4 PMs in response to you PMing me to stop "spamming" your complaint topic. I recall those being rather angry in tone, since I thought your behavior at that time was inexcusable, but I don't think my messages (or yours to me) were anything that's objectionable by MFGG rule standards. If I swore at all (which I don't remember doing), it was probably nothing more than what people post on MFGG all the time, and I'm certain I didn't call you any swearing names. And I don't know what you could be thinking of when you say "violent", because I couldn't have threatened you, and I can't imagine I threatened anyone else. "Scary" is probably just some subjective term you're applying to it because you refuse to see me as anything but a mentally unstable nut.

Besides, I had the impression that as far as unofficial nominations are concerned I'm out of the running anyway (as far as the actual admins'/mods' decisions are concerned, of course I have no idea). A few people think I'm fit, but most apparently don't. That's OK with me, though, of course; I certainly didn't have my heart set on it.

Just for his own amusement, not officially or anything.

You know what, I PMed RII about my little rant, and I'd ask RII to now forget about it and don't adhere to it.



Despite some of the nominations, after thinking about it, I don't think I'd better take such a position of moderator. The reason being that essentially I'm in the same boat that Shadowman was in before he left - leaving at the end of the year (except that I'm not leaving, just not really being as active as before). I've got too much to do on my end, getting full-time work, and I'll be going into university in January, not to mention prior to that attempting to move into a location in a different city.

I just won't have enough time to do such a thing anymore. So thanks for the notices, but if it does come to the concept where new administration and moderation is being installed, don't count me in.

Well I'm out before I even get in the compettion.

This isn't a competition.
Its to assure some of us actually have an MFGG to go to.

This isn't about WHO you are on the forums. Its HOW you would work as an member of the administation.

This isn't about getting a little badge and bragging rights.

No no, this is about finding the best and most dedicated internet janitor that MFGG has to offer.

You know what, screw it. I have to say something.

People might not like some of the things I say, but for god's sake, I have so much fervor for this place and I want to see it grow and get better. For two times, I've left for a period of over two months, but in the end I just can't completely quit this place. Know why? I joined here in 2003, I found the main site even earlier than that, and I'm really attached to this place. For years now, all I've wanted to have happen is seeing the right decisions be made, and getting this place under control and made into a happy place again, while seeing the right members get disciplined and warned for being rude and nasty to others and causing grief, the same kind of grief that gets people like SM to quit. Do you honestly want any of that? I sure as hell don't.

But there's a whole lot of people who outright loathes you. And would do ANYTHING THEY COULD. to make your life as staff painful.
Anything. If they get your number, they'll spam your phone/put it on shady sites, for example.

You got great ideas, values and an overall great attititude, but you're still a large target.

I agree with Elly on the PK issue. I think PK would do a good job, but he has too many enemies in "high" places.

Its kinda horrible.
