I have this engine, usable for veggie throwing, and also the ability to throw bombs, added to show how a veggie can be edited into something else. (Even a shyguy or other enemy)

In credit: Please give credit for any of the elements used, but you do not need permission.

UPDATED

It's been updated again, with a P-block and Ninjis. The ninjis don't really hurt you and you can't touch them because this is an engine, but it shows how to work the P-block!

There is no sound. I only have the movement covered, because anybody can do sound. Technically, this engine wasn't made to be used for a game, but rather it's technique because I do not want any games that are this engine with no edits.

I'm bad at GML too; I use it only when necessary. ohmy.gif
Believe it or not, I can do basically anything I want to with drag & drop. I even have another tutorial for castle mazes... Which I've been wanting to release. Wait for an update. Though I'm not trying to make an engine out of this, it's just that how-tos get in slowly.

I'll help you by using image_xscale. Honestly, I got lazy. Sprite mirroring can be do unregistered, but I did not know I would release this. Wish to be granted.

I added unregistered flipping and castle mazes.

Remember, this is focused on the veggies, castle mazes are just a new feature. They are hard to implement due to creation codes and interference with paralaxx scrolling and their creation codes. They might be mean to engines with traction, I don't know.

Try This: Go under the floating island, go forward, keep going until the third tree after the floating island is at the edge of the screen, then go backwards.

Right after Mario throws an object he lifts another one, while Ctrl was pressed only once.
That shouldn't happen.

I acctually don't understand what the right and wrong blocks are for. Oh, could you release the tutorial for castle mazes? I've been looking for somthing like that!

THEY ARE THE TUTORIAL FOR CASTLE MAZES. The right block means you can go past and the wrong block makes you go where the Set object's destination variable says. Almost everything in the castle (or grassland) maze is based on the set object.
