I've had my braces off for a little over 6 years now. My teeth still want to shift all over the place if I go more than one night without wearing my retainer. I was supposed to only need my retainer one night a week, starting 4 years ago. Bull****.

Oh well, maybe you'll get luckier. My retainer doesn't even fit right anymore.

I read a story once about a dentist who ****ed up braces for this guy so that every time they removed a bracket it brought chunks of teeth with it. It sounded incredibly painful. Pretty sure he took legal action against the dentist as well.

Oh yes, having to wear retainers forever. I think it's kind of disgusting but I am used to it. anythings for a snow white smile!
