Rant on Parental thoughts of computers.

Ok, recently this has become a problem to me. First it was with a pal of mine, Davis, worrying over an exam since his parents would go all as he describes "Emo Hulk" on him. However thats not the case on this rant.

Now you all may not care since some of you dislike him. But my pal, MechaBowser has to leave the internet in 8 days.

Why? His mom says he has an addiction, and is cutting him off.

Now, stuff like that really gets on my nerves. I see the internet in one way, An addiction. A common one to be exact, Like how most adults smoke or something like that. Its even hypocritical since most adults who have a decent job use a computer 50% of the time while working. Hell, my mom works at a bank, and half her job is to use a computer. Yet she complains I use mine too much, and should only be on an hour for two days @_@.

Now, I understand staying on a computer 24/7 is bad, and should be stopped then. But cutting it off altogether for only using it a few hours in the day is just crossing the line. Even for someone like MechaBowser. Sad to see him leave. But my point is, Parents should stop being so hypocritical on how long their child stays on a computer. Not saying this to all parents, just the ones who have other addictions. If the child should give it up, They need to give up an addiction aswell. But as the saying goes, Life isn't fair =/.

Yeah, pretty much if I was suspended from the computer at the moment, my career and university enrollment would be screwed.

I was saying getting rid of use of a computer altogether is bad. And yes, I do go outside thank you very much =/.
