This weird game is what I like to call New Super Mini Mario Kart Bros World... okay, I'm kidding, I've nicknamed it "Mini(no)Kart".

Mario has many of his trademark moves.
I love seeing a different look on things, so this was a platformer of a racing game map!

A nice place to start putting in those Glory Emblems too.

What I really wanted to do was use slopes and such to add some more variation, but I lost the tutorial I had that talked about using the Overlay object right, and I don't know anyone who I haven't bothered enough already who knows about it. ;x

from what I get, you change the angle by wallkicking with some other condition, and then release to change the map styling, enabling you to get to another point that may have an object of value.

Actually, I just have it set to rotate when I press the Z button, however many times I tap it, it rotates that many times. It's really just a test. I walljumped and such so I didn't end up inside a solid brick wall.

Yep. In Thingio Side A: Let's Go! Thingio!, Mario lost his hammer when he washed up on Hilure. He's now realized that without that weight, he can scoot around against a wall flat and unnoticed to many things! This helps the fact he can only take away one HP at a time from enemies. He can also go across thin ledges.

These are Handfakes.
These enemies reign from Star Hill, in Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time. They crawl around harmlessly on the ground for a bit, then pull out a sign.

Sometimes things get out of hand.
To beat them, you simply jump on the sign to knock it out of their hand about three times.

That's high!
The Parakoopa sign requires a double jump to get over. You can also try and get a friend to do it for you.
There's that third enemy, too. If a Handfake holds up a Bob-omb sign for a short while, they'll drop it. Watch out, it'll explode into deadly chunks of cardboard!

I managed to get this update up using spare images, my own computer's disconnected from the net for a bit. Wanted to get it up a little earlier too.

This next minigame was going to be for a winter minigame competition... but I missed it. It was called Thingio: Holidaze.

The strangest teamup since Mario, Sonic, and Mickey Mouse? Maybe...
This engine featured four characters with about four upgrades each, and probably the worst mix of sprite styles possible.

Don't lose track of your pals!
Mugenmidget helped design a kind of "HP Pool" as we called it, seen on top. If a character lost all their HP, they would recover it from the HP Pool. If there was none left, they could be brought back to the game by taking from an existing player's HP. There was also the ability to swap focus to the next player, skipping over any that weren't in-game.

Yep, it was still called Application1. It was quite buggy too.
One of the things I worried about was if the inclusion of a whole "alternate dimension kung fu knowing Gunpei Yokoi" thing would seem less in honor and more insultive...

I'd love to pick up Super Mario Land 4 again some time, but I'm trying not to get Thingio Side B out of the main programming spotlight unless the public really seemed more interested in something else for now.
