It doesn't seem like the kind of enemy you'd see on the overworld, though, more like one of those enemies that only appear in battle. The stuff on the left is what I used for reference, as well as my palette. For the shadow, make make it semi-transparent over whatever the floor is. I used that green as it was easier than working with black. Edit: Tweaked the animation a tad.
