Those of you who have seen the WIP topic in the PPP already know about this, but for the rest of you: Today I've spent a collective time of about 6 1/2 hours to create this rather fully featured Mini Mario toy, from the Mario vs. Donkey Kong series. His head and waist can turn, his arms and legs move, his hat is removable, and you can even turn the key on his back! I'm pleased with how it turned out! His only major fault: he's a little top heavy, and can only stand up on his own for a few seconds. I had to prop him up with a pen to take these pictures:

Actually, his legs are that big. They're just closer together in the game. Oh, and thanks, but he's not for sale! wink.gif

How'd you make his arms and legs move and his waist and head turn?

This Mario toy is nice and I have not one equal.
This toy looks like a doll.

I would laugh if you made a stop-motion film with MM doing the robot.

But I've always wanted to do clay-modeling like you. smile.gif Nice Job.

Thanks everyone! As for how he's articulated, he's held together with pipecleaners. If you look close, you can see them coming out of his shoulders, and his body in a couple spots. He's actually made up of eight pieces (without the hat). His head, upper body, and lower body are all separate with a pipecleaner running through them. As a result, he can move! The same goes for his arms, legs, and key. As for the stop-motion idea, I really like it, but the darn thing is too unstable for me to pose and take pictures. He falls over to easily.

Do the pictures appear broken, or do they just not show up at all?

Nice work. The beady eyes kind of remind me of Super Mario 3.

Thanks. To me, the look of Mini Mario somewhat resembles what Paper Mario would look like in 3-D.
