DONT MAKE THE JUMP KEY SHIFT!!! all it does is turns on my caps lock and then my comp just freezes, then I cant move(in the game), the character of any game just keeps moving left. also then my comp makes a wierd sound whenever I press (alt,shift,CTRL,caps lock,tab,ect)

Shift is pretty much an ideal jump key on the keyboard, and the solution to the problems that come up should just be to turn off StickyKeys and any other things that pressing Shift multiple times triggers. Either that or your computer has problems.


Anyway, I got this right before the ending screen (which I reached after clicking "Ignore"):

But all in all, for a game that has no enemies, this one is surprisingly fun to play. I think a lot of this is because of the unmixed NSMB graphics and the superb music choices.

I'm glad you like the music. It was added at the last minute (by picking various songs for 8 levels from my MIDI library).
I tried to keep the graphics all NSMB so they would fit in well. The desert background was particularly hard! (My NSC ripper doesn't work properly on it, so it has a large amount of missing tiles. You can see my bad attempt at editing it if you look closely at the BG.)
