You can't view your own reasons for suspended

I know some people who were suspended, you can't log out when suspended, you can't view the reason why you are suspended when you are logged out, and the suspense list doesn't indicate the message that they are complaining about (if they are complaining about a message) or the time of suspense next to the date, either. Really it isn't designed very well and they can't post to complain about it so they told me to. If this message is inaccurate you can tell me that as well.

They send you an E-mail stating why you were suspended. learn to check your e-mail when you get banned.

People can also just delete their cookies for this site and view the forums as a guest. (If that's supposed to be allowed, that is, though judging from the fact that people have said they did it before and didn't get told anything, I assume it's all right to do.)

OK I will tell them that. The current system still isn't very good though.

You still can't view the reason of being suspended when logged out, though (I even tried it myself).

Well, then, you can replace RII's position and completely revamp a good portion of code to program such a system, which, by the way, is immensely difficult, which is why RII doesn't have such of one.


Besides, other than accidental suspensions, if you don't know what you did wrong, you'll find out when you come back. It's not like you need to find out while your off, it won't matter if you find out then, because you won't be able to do anything about it until you get back. It's pointless in that case.


And as stated before, if it's a permaban, obviously you will most definitely know what you did incorrectly.


Speaking of "as stated before," hasn't this topic been discussed three or four times previously?

They do not. I got suspended once; no email.

actually RII is perfectly skilled enough to make the You're Banned message parse the last suspension or three, or allow Guests to view warn logs, it's more likely that he hasn't done this because he doesn't feel the current demand level justifies doing so

You could just go to the banlist topic....

I don't see why it wouldn't be allowed as long as they didn't try to make a dupe, considering that guests can't post.
