I'd like to let this video explain everything:

We've been working for some time now, and feel that we have enough material to come to the surface... Tamayoshi started it all, and i promised a sequel- but i never planned it to be as good as this is coming out to be... along the way, the person who was originally going to assist me dropped off of the face of the planet, and the game faced destruction... then, Raikyo came along- in his time of need (After the whole MB issue) and we helped each other out and now, he's become that assistant to the game... we have planned some things for the game, but we don't want to spoil the suprise- now, what you see in the video is:

Gamecube- Access a LARGE library of minigames and microgames, each one giving out different ammounts of yoins (Yoshi currency)

Computer- Saves your current yoshi's status ready to play later.

Bed- Sleepy time! No more waiting around!

Door- Go to the shops and other places.

Kitchen- Feed yoshi a small catalouge of items!

Window- Take yoshi for a walk!

Yoshi Play Park


And MUCH More...

And as the Video says, The evolution is now.
What that means? I'll let you figure it out

Well, i loved the first game, so I'm hoping I'll understand what's going on here.
Instead of wondering what the bubbles attacking my yoshi are while taking it for a walk :L

We've got lots of things planned, a whole wide based load of secrets and tricks, that you'll find as you progress, so it'll have more replay value than the last one...

YES. Finally, I've been waiting for this! Pokemon sprites... this is gonna be good.

I'll make sure i don't dissapoint anyone- and for the record- We may start doing a Daily Blog (well, not so daily, but every now and then) So you can keep up with what's going on down in the developers... pit... thing... area... yeah...

Over the past few days I've worked on the Shopping and "Ini"-System
This will allow the player to buy stuff. You won't lose your items
when you close the game. The Ini-system will save the Items for you.
The next thing I intend on doing is the "Main-Save" System. It will
allow you to save the Game-Progress.

Well, not really inspiration... but more of a mould to shape from (the original Tamayoshi that is) the whole engine for Tamayoshi was done from scratch, but the the first words i thought of calling my Game was, actually "Yoshi Pet 2" When i realised what a bad idea it was- Tamagotchi + Yoshi = Tamayoshi came to mind.


I guess you could call it inspriation, but when it looks nothing like it, it was more of an example of what to achieve.

Alright then, i guess i should explain to you one of our prototype functions-
The gamecube.

This lil' baby plays games which you play to earn money, No logic in that i know, but hey, if mushrooms can make you bigger, then Yoshi's gamecube can pay out.
Like WarioWare, the game controlls are explained just before the game begins, so you have an idea what you're doing ^_^ Should you forget... then D: to you!

Now, what's the event button all about?

Hmm... maybe a little roulette game? You Vs. Yoshi, try to get the higher number on the roulette... or maybe just by yourself. Is that too complicated?
And Yoshi trainer battles... wow. Would it be online (I doubt it, though)?

I'll see what i can do for the roullete game... as for trainer battles?
Online would be sweet... but we don't know if we're capabale of such features at this moment unfortunatly

Meh, I understand. I didn't expect it anyway.
In that case, do you fight random Yoshi trainers? Also, can yoshis come in different colors. Maybe, you can buy another Yoshi to keep, and to have your other Yoshi have fun with, and then different genders... and then breeding...
Ah... I'm getting ahead of myself. Most of that would probably be hard to implement, anyways.

Any hoo, i dunno about the above really, but we need GCN ideas really, the ideas for the WHOLE game as it's self is on me and Raikyo's Plate.

Quick question: Will your Yoshi be able to make your Yoshi grow into an adult?

Hmm... I thought of another game. Maybe you try pressing buttons rapidly or alternating buttons, like A and S and A and S... etc, or just keep rapidly pressing A or S. You have a bar, and it's empty. Doing what I said above makes your bar go up, and your Yoshi's bar go down. However, Yoshi is also raising his bar as well as lowering yours. First to fill their bar wins!
