I'd try it, but considering all I had to go through to play NiGHTS...ah well. Maybe when I have more time.

Same reason I want to play the Zelda OOT BETA even though it would be glitchy and really have no substance to it.

We'll find out once I burn this ISO and attempt to get it to work on my girlfriend's SEGA Saturn.

I hear there is some sorta CD trick or something that lets you play burned games, I'm not sure though, plus the trick is aperantly dangerous..

This looks fun for like 15 minutes if you have no interest of hacking it.

Scratch that last question, it just needs an emulator to play it.



Holy ****. I can safely and confidently say that if this game would have been released, it would have made much more sales than Sonic 3D Blast. Seriously, this game looks like it would have been 4 times better than Sonic 3D Blast, and not to mention the music is better.

No, this is only a prototype that has a few flickies, rings, a stream and a grass landscape.


And Sonic, obviously.

I personally love the bubble-eyed camera. It makes the level look much dramatic.

That video makes it look like a super, super-early version. Still a nice little relic though.

Damn, and here's me thinking that perhaps Chris Senn had released a PC proto. It just has to be the boring old ASSEMbler one. I've been following X-treme for some time now since it's so amazing, but having seen that video a few weeks back I sorta became uninterested in this proto because the video pretty much explains everything in it (which isn't much since it's just the Coffin boss engine test I think).

And the music's from Sonic CD is it not? Or is it a different track in game?

Oh and you won't be able to play this on a regular Saturn without modding I would expect. The Saturn is far more protected than consoles like the Dreamcast.
