GAME MEMORIES

1.) Catching a Latias (Pokémon Sapphire)
-I used Wobbuffet for this battle, and used Mirror Coat for its attacks. The Latias used up ALL of its attacks, and was left with Stuggle. Unfortunately, Wobbuffet fainted, so I swtiched to Rayquaza and caught it before it knocked itself out.

2.) Catching a Rayquaza (Pokémon Sapphire)
-I used Kyogre and started out with Ice Beam. Rayquaza then used Rest. I used Ice Beam, then Pokéball. It popped out. I used Ice Beam and it woke up and used Rest again. 5 TIMES that same pattern:

Getting myself stuck (Super Mario Advance)
-While playing as Toad, I got myself stuck behind a tower of Mushroom Blocks!
I was really frustrated and had to start the ENTIRE level over!

Stupid Friends (Kirby & the Amazing Mirror)
-OK, I was in the first level, floating over some enemies (I had called my friends). A Battie enemy collided into me and I fell and died. My friends, being the idiots that they are, floated down after me a died as well....

Once while playing Conker's Bad Fur Day's multiplayer with a friend of mine, I was aiming for a headshot but it turned out to be a different Tediz altogether and he shot me right after.

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!

Finding a shiny Bibarel in my Pokemon Pearl. So random.

Doing the Minus Glitch for the first time lol

Beating the Halos on Legendary.

I should do that again sometime.

Beating the Biolizard in SA2. Time limit usually pressure me, and i'm pretty sure there was a hidden timer.

getting 99 E4 wins on Red, then losing the game the next day somehow. I wanted to see if the gym leader myth was real

Got two completely different aspects here.




- Getting the Atari 6100 (or... I forget which model) for the first time.
- Buying Half-Life 2 for the first time... scratch that, playing Half-Life 2 for the first time.

Following that one girl in WW.

And what exactly is the problem with that?


Here are a couple of humorous stories about games:

Once I was playing Donkey Kong Country 2 with my brother. He was Diddy, I was Dixie. My brother was a beginner at the game, and I was the one who was doing most of the harder stuff in the game. Anyway, we got to the Kreepy Krow battle, and I was doing the battling though my brother's character (Diddy) was still there, and I got hit right when I was holding the barrel that would have dealt Krow his final blow. I ran of the screen, and as soon as my brother began to play, the barrel I had been holding hit Krow and killed him. So Diddy started doing his victory stuff with his boom box and collected the coin. My brother and I were laughing our heads off about it, since it looked like Diddy was stealing all the glory after doing none of the fighting. I don't know if it sounds that funny to other people, but we thought it was when it happened, and I still think it is.

Another time I was playing Kirby's Dream Land 3 with the same brother; I was controlling Kirby and he was controlling Gooey. We were in that one level where you have to bring Kine through to a certain point in order to get a heart star, but there's a gap that Kine can't squeeze through in a cave and you're normally supposed to go through the gap without Kine to get the necessary ability to break a wall of "ability blocks" to let Kine through that way. (I think it was the whirlpool level in the water world.) My brother, as Gooey, had Kine (or maybe I gave him to him so I could get through the gap and take care of the ability thing). I went through the gap myself, intending to leave my brother's player and Kine there while I got the ability on the other side, and went about my business there, but what I didn't notice was that Gooey and Kine had warped to me automatically like they always do when Gooey gets offscreen, and gone right through the wall where the gap was! My brother didn't understand why I was still getting ready to break the ability block wall, and asked me, "What exactly are you trying to do?" I was starting to explain that it was to get him over to where I was, and then he started laughing and said, "I'm already over here!" We both thought it was hilarious.

mistaking "COME ON!" in S3's boss music as the word "ESKIMO"

I'm not sure either unless the sound file consistently glitched and played backwards

Listining to the naruto victory song while reading this makes me feel happy for some reason.

My favorite glitches of all time are my best VG memories.

Me and a friend were playing Ocarina of Time, in the Fire Temple in the room with the trap flame walls. At the end of that puzzle when you have to race to the door before the flame comes up after hitting a switch, the flames came up right underneath Link. What ended up happening was, Link flew up and hit the ceiling, with a stuttering scream. He then went through the ceiling, screaming even louder and making more stuttering noises, then the game just froze. We still laugh about "GYYYAAAAAAAGIGIGIGIGIGIGIGIGIG"



In Enter The Matrix, there's a point in the game when you get a crossbow, which are one-hit-kills. There's a part where a guy jumps from one balcony to the other with this flying leap. Mid-leap, I shot the guy with the crossbow, and once he landed on my balcony he just stood there and couldn't be attacked. He eventually woke up, ran over to the railing, climbed it, and jumped off the balcony to his death for no reason.

- On Mario Kart Ds wifi, I had a blue shell going towards me, so I backed into the other 3 players, and we all got hit by the blast.

-Facing the Great Mighty Poo on Conker's Bad Fur Day

-Beating Jumpin Jack Flash with the Elite Beat Divas on Elite Beat Agents for the first time.

Speaking of Link stuttering:

In Majora's Mask, in the enormous waterwheel room (Great Bay Temple), you can have Zora Link swim up against a wall. Hold down the swim button at the right angle and he will stick to the wall and repeatedly smash into it at light speed going DIHIDHIDIHDIHIDHIOWOWOWOODIHIDHIDIHDH

THIS COUNTS, K: When my dad used to work at Best Buy (mid90's to early 2001), he got me a FREE copy of Zelda:OoT, in '98, and, later, a GBA, for free, in '01 also.

Unrelated: I started gaming since I was 3, with Mario 64.
