Story goes roughly like this: (Thanks to Thrippa~)

Sonic and Tails are flying over the oceans, in search of something emitting great power. In the midst of their search, their plane is brought down by a typhoon, and both heroes are knocked out. Eventually, both wash up on the shores of Southern Island (South Island?), and are discovered by a young raccoon girl named "Marin" (Marine/Marina?) [ITS MOTHER****ING MARIN]

EVEN THE STORY IS LINK'S AWAKENING

What I don't quite get is why Tails isn't playable, because surely that would be easier than having to create some crazy-ass backstory for Blaze. Sonic Team (Or that division of Sega that's making it that I can't remember the name of) actually have a decent story here for once, even if they have stolen it from Nintendo. In Links Awakening, Link sets sail to find an adventure, when suddenly his boat/raft gets destroyed by a storm and rough waves. He then wakes up on a beach and is found by a girl named Marin.

While I'll probably buy this game, they could have a better storyline that's not a complete ripoff.

Question: Why do people ***** about new Sonic characters all the time, but not the new Mario characters (which come in greater quantities)? =/

Anyways, if this island is really South Island, then you need to go to Marble Zone and Labrynth Zone in this game, damnit
