Finally...a new traditional JRPG for the Wii.

I'm extremely hyped for this though admittedly my heart sank a lil when it was annouced Loyd and company weren't the lead characters, even though they are still making appearances.

Barring some horrible voice actor and character development, I can already see myself warming up to Emil, I like the character design.

Although being the tales fan that I am. I'll most certainly end up getting it.

I think it's nice to have a change of protagonists - Lloyd had his time in the spotlight.

It's ironic that there have been so many topics on Tales (and other) message boards that go something like this:

And now it actually IS getting a sequel, on Nintendo's main console.

The Tales of Destiny sequel had atleast one party member from the previous game join up with you again, didn't it? Right?

Come on, Namco. I'll take Presea, Regal, Zelos...give me something here.

Since we're probably not going to see Kratos again they owe us atleast one.

I think the "Zelos Dies" ending was canon as evidenced by Tales of the Abyss, so it's likely we won't see Zelos either.

Though I can imagine all the others making an appearance at some point (save for Kratos because he leaves for Derris-Kharlan regardless of which ending you choose).

Could happen, don't jump to conclusions just yet.

What connection is there between Abyss and Symphonia? I don't really see one.

The ramblings of that replica were more of a fan service funny moment than anything else if you ask me. Theres nods like that to the other games in alot of the tales titles.

edit: oh, my opinion on this game. I won't care much unless I can play as an old character. One of the reasons I loved the first one so much was because of the characters.

Same. The characters from TOS had a great appeal to me. Although there were some that I intended to hate a little too much.

To see if any of the returning characters are playable(Especially Sheena) then it would be nice, however, I have doubts of such things.
