Hello im new to the forum so please have a little patience with me. Ive created a Super Mario Galaxy card game. you can find them
Here5 card need to be taken from each deck
Each player starts with 3 stars, the object of the game is to steal all of the opponent's stars. You do this by attacking him when he doesn't have a character card on the feild. each time you do this you steal 1 star from him and you add that to your stars.
There are three types of cards Characters,Planet and Items.
Turn Phases
1.Play character card(optional)
2.Attack(unless if unnable to do so)
3.play Item card(optional)
4.Play/remove Planet card(optional)
5. Make sure that you always have 5 cards in your hand.
Character cards
Are the main cards youll use. These cards have HP(Health points) and AP(action points). If a card's HP drops to 0 the card is put on the discarded pile. AP are used to make attacks, each attack has a cost so if an attack costs 5 AP and you have 10 AP it means you subtract 5 AP from your total AP. Some characters also have Abilities These will help or hurt your character they are written in Italized text.
Planet Cards
Planet cards can change the rules of the game each one has a different effect on the game and they aplly to ALL the players . for example you will need to play rock,paper,Scissors to attack. Each player can only have 1 planet card in play at a time. these can be changed at the end of the turn.But you can leave it as much time as you want.
Item Cards
These cards help you or damage your opponent you can only have 2 on in play at the same time and they need to be discarded after theyve been used(unless it says the contrary)
Attacks
The attacks come in this format:
Name: effect # of damage(dmg) made Cost
A character can attack once ,your AP will be replenished completely at the end of turn.
BUT you can attack twice if you have enough AP, at the end of turn Subtract the cost of the second attack you used from your total AP. if you attack just once next turn or dont attack at all your AP is replenished completely.
Status effects
Some attacks might induce status effect all effects lasts for 2 turns unless it has this besides it(x2) so the effect lasts for 4 turns.
Heres a list of all the effects and what they do.
Flatten: -2AP
Burned:Loses 3 HP at start of turn
Dizzy: cant attack
Explode:attack also hits the two cards adjacent to the target
Powerful:Ignores abilities or extra defense.
Attack and Defense
Some items,abilities and planets might boost or weaken the character's attack and defense. when it raises attack it means that you make 1 extra point of damage when you attack and viceversa. WHen it says that it raises defence it means that if that character is hit the damage taken is reduced by 1.
