Nah I didn't use "If" at all. Nothing at all has changed... this is weird.

Edit: On the bright side, the template isn't in the category anymore

Yeah but now there's no list of people who need site numbers or forum numbers.

I can try to delete both templates and restore the MFGGer template and see if that fixes the lists.

If not, I can always restore the deletions and changes later.

Yeah that brought them back. Try changing to my latest edit again and see if that does anything.

Changing to which edit on which templates? You mean restore them?

The wiki is a bit slow, it's slowly adding members to the lists again.

Yeah, it could have been a glitch in the wiki. Just to make sure.

Restored both templates, list is still adding names. Also restored template:MFGGers, list is still adding names.

Templates are refreshed instantly. It's stylesheets that take a while, but they are stored client-side, so clearing cache fixes it.

Well you knew what I meant.

Anyway it looks like it's fixed now, yey.

Edit: @Joey - You changed the ForumNumber template! I thought it was working as the one using <includeonly> to hide it from the Without Forum Account category.

Yeah, but check out the list of members who need a main site account number. Should be a lot more than that, unless someone's been adding site numbers?

EDIT: Oops, didn't notice there were includeonly tags. Sitenumber didn't have it so I tried to match them up. Fixing.

Keep in mind the alternate only shows if the first field is not given. If it's given, but it's a null, then it will not place the alternate, therefore anybody who has

{{ForumNumber||Something}}

As the call will not be placed in the category, because you passed field 1, even if it is null.

I don't see why. You just don't put "forumnumber=" unless you actually have a forum number to enter.

Should I keep adding forumnumbers for now while you do that, or wait until you're done fiddling with things?

You can keep going, the list might just disappear at some point.

What I don't understand is why you have a field 2 reference in the template. Wouldn't you be calling this template with only one parameter?

If so, you could then call it within the {{Member}} template like so:

{{ForumNumber|{{{forumnumber|[[Category:Whatever]]}}}}}

... in which case passing a null to Member for the forum number will pass a category append to the template.

Hey if you have a better way to do it then try it out. It was just a quick hack to get things working
