~drawing Comp~: Paperish Mario

I figured since Paper Mario 2 gets released this week, it'd be nice to do something in tribute to it.

Soooo, the premise is this: Draw something from ANY Mario game in Paper Mario style, EXCEPT Paper Mario and Paper Mario 2. Any other game is elligible, even Tetris Attack and Wario Woods, if you're insane enough to do them in a papery way. That means the characters should have the heavy black outlines and be all papery, and the background (if you wanna put one) should be all watercolory/pastelish, or like the battle backgrounds in PM2; that is, like stage scenery.

And be creative with the characters. Say, if you do Wario, don't just draw plain old Wario and add a black outline to him.

If you need references for characters, this site here has pics of mostly all the characters from Paper Mario, and their walkthrough has pics, so you can get some background ideas.

Remember, they have to look papery. Or no cookies for you.

The comp'll run 'til OCTOBER 22ND.

TOP 5 VOTING TAKES PLACE ON SATURDAY, OCT. 23RD, AND 1ST/2ND PLACE VOTING ON OCTOBER THE 24TH. That way it'll be done in time for Halloween. If the mods think that might be cutting it a bit close, I'll push the finish date back a few days.

Uh huh.

I'm done. Bandit running with Baby Mario with a few enemies in the caverns of Yoshi's Island. As paperish as I could get it.

Well it's a good thing I know how to do the Paper Mario 2 style(somewhat).

Just need to think of what character to do.

Oh well, doesn't matter. Looks good. You could've done a new Kamek for a new entry though.
