~drawing Comp~: Paperish Mario

I've edit some Wario's image... Is it forbidden? In sprite comp it's allowed to edit existing sprites so I guess it's the same here

I'm pretty sure it's not allowed here, the artwork for the art comp must be original. We need to have a general rules and regulations page for the Sprite and Drawing comps so no one gets confused.

What, no crayons? Aww, then I guess my Paper Kong pic is disqualified too...

I agree with drawing comps, but a lot of people are better at editing then from scratch sprite work =P

But I'm trying to tell DB that yes, edits are allowed.

Eh. I tried. Considering I've never played any Paper Mario game and am only aware of the style via a few screenshots, this may... still suck. It's a "Paper" version of the original SMB. Everything here was first drawn by hand (or in the case of the ground, by line tool) in MS Paint, then the obvious Photoshopping.

That's not the point. The point is, why should someone get to do any less work, because they are allowed to edit sprites instead of making them from scratch?

My entry, Paper Tanooki Mario.

Not done to look like anything, it is just my style with Bolder Outlines.

(Done in Fireworks at my school)

I can't tell if works or not, damn School computers sucking.
