Hello. I made a pretty good tutorial on how to make a good menu for you games in GameMaker 7. This includes all of the resources your need and and example. Also it includes a tutorial that gives you step-by-step instructions on how to make a custom menu.

Don't add GB file(s) along with the GM file. It's a waste of space. Resources don't serve any purpose either.

Well the GB file was for a back-up. And if you read the tutorial, then you'll need the resources >.<!

For a beginner, I guess, it's ok.

Could be better though:
Too many objects. You could have this whole thing with only one object, much more efficient.

But it works, and that's what it should do.
Therefore, for beginners it's ok.

I know how to do that. I made this to show biginners the simple start to make a menu. I could easily make this with one object but I felt it would be to difficult for someone new to GML.
