As Hatman, Winner of Competition #28, had no time to make a new competition for more than 3 days, it's now my turn as the Runner-Up to do that instead.
Congratulations to Hatman, the Winner and the others who made it to the Top Five, as well as everyone else who took part and made a good entry for the previous MGC.
Today's Subject is:
Edutainment!
Explanation: Everyone knows games like "Mario Teaches Typing" or "Mario is Missing".
Educational Mario games which are intended to make fun for the player, but also teach him something. People complained about those games for having bad graphics or not being fun, but do you think you can do better?
What you have to do is the following:
Create an Educational Mario Game (Demos allowed, too, as education is always big).
Wether you have "Mario teaches Reading", "Goomba explains Math" or "Luigi and the Secret of Pythagoras", it doesn't matter. If someone has the guts, they could also do something like "Princess Daisy goes Japan".
Just keep in mind:
>It has to be FUN and TEACH SOMETHING TO SOMEBODY.<
This somebody can be between 3 and 300 years old, so you can do whatever you want, as long as it is educational.
The more education and entertainment combine (edutainment) the higher should your chance be to win, just so you know.
