Have you ever gotten a perfect lineup, in the SMW Bonus Game?

Today, for the first time in my life, I got all of the nine panels to be Mushrooms. I hate the the SMW Bonus Game anyway, but getting a perfect game is just wow.

It's easy as pie.
Just stand under the bottom-left position and jump whenever the block comes from the right.
With the right timing, you'll be the master of this bonus game.

I think I remember doing it a few times. It's actually a lot easier if you stand in the same place and time your jumping.

I think I might have done it with each shape, too.

Yep, it's easy. You just have to consecutively jump in the right time frame.

The timing can't fall anything short of perfect, but I've gotten it a few times. I got it with stars at one point and then my friend shouted "Look! Mario All-Stars!"

I have before, and I do every time now because they follow a specific pattern and it's never random.

What I mean is, if you stand in a specific spot and jump when the block is overhead, you will always get the same one every jump.

I read somewhere that you can pause to see what shape the blocks are displaying during the bonus stage. I never used this technique I usually find a spot and time my jumps.


This also reminds me of Super Mario Bros 3, where if you do a full power running jump to the bottom left corner of the end-of-level-card, you get a star every time

I always got a high percentage of stars by running at the ending card, I do remember that.
