Scar Stories, Post yours

It was about three years ago and I was about eight years old at that time. I had just come out of a hellish surgery (Luckily, I got to sleep through it all) that was done for the area right under my nose (a little bit above the upper lip) so I could speak better. I had these nose tubes that made it so I could not use a tissue to clean the inside of my nose regulary (It's gross, I'm sorry. :p), so I had to use a Q-Tip (Well, I'm kinda embarrased to say, but my mom had to help me out there) and it hurt pretty bad. That was just the beginning of my troubles though.

My mouth was swollen and there was only a small gap that liquids could get through. Ok, it's going to be really hard to say this and I'm awfully embarrased, but my mom had to get drinks into the small tube and "feed" it to me. Ugh, plenty of embarrasment.

I couldn't do gaming,I couldn't draw, I couldn't do much besides lay in the bed of my home and watch cheesy shows such as "The Morning Show With Regis And Kelly" since that one television in the bedroom was the only one that didn't have cable. I was also very sick at the time so the bed felt like it was on fire at times.

There was also one night where I woke up and believed one of my eyes got lost from rolling around alot (I wasn't dreaming) and I was look "Where'd my eye go,AHHH! MY EYE! NOOOOOO!) My mom told me later that night that it was swollen and it'd be that way for a few days.

After I graduated from 3rd grade ( I still had my nose tubes and I still actually got honor rolls as usual and other stuff despite the nose tubes) I was back at gaming and my usual hobbies. But one thing sucked pretty bad, I'm was a big fan of swimming (and I still am) and I couldn't for about several more weeks because I couldn't swim with the nose tubes. But the day I got those suckers removed (And I was very happy) I got to swim though, which was awesome to me.

There's one thing I forgot to mention, I was going to get the tubes removed after a five week's fill of torture, but the doctor said I had to wait AFTER SCHOOL ended to get them removed, and even a few weeks after. I know that sounds impatient, but you don't know nothing unless you went through the hell I had to.

So yeah, that was heck to go through. I don't need your sympathy (Unless you want to post something like that, I can't stop you from doing that). Comments and what not?

Oi, I got a few scars meself.

A few months after I was born; around 18 monthes, the doctors diagnosed me with a brain tumor. Sadly this news was given right after a hole in one of the arteries of my heart had just patched up itself which is a completely different story, but anyways. My parents allowed the doctor to opperate on me. They used the anesthetic and everything and I ended up okay as they took out the tumor successfully. After removing the stitches to my head, I was left a crescent shaped scar thats a bit big.

I have a scar on each of my knees, I tripped on concrete in the 4th grade and... Yea, couldn't walk from where the abrasions were, and I had to be wheelchaired to the Clinic.

Just one right above my groin from a hernia operation I got about 8-9 years ago.

One of my classmates stuck me up for cash with my knife. I gave him what I had: $3. Thinking I was hiding more, he stabbed me, but thanfully only my right index finger. Fortunatley, I kicked his ass after. Good thing I'm a lefty.

When I was little I peeked over the stove when my mom was making grilled cheese and I burnt my chin, didn't leave a scar though but it scabbed or something and hurt for a while.

When my little sister was about 3 she stepped on a glass shard (from a apple sauce container that broke a few days ago, my parents thought that they had swept away all the glass) and cut her foot open and had to get stiches.



also, I got a mole removed on the back of my neck a few years ago, they gave me a shot in that area to make it completely numb. I could feel the motion of them cutting the skin and stuff but I didn't feel any pain. It was a strange sensation, knowing someone is cutting into you and you can feel the movements and stuff but no pain, really odd. I don't think that left a scar though, and if it did it's probrably faded beyond sight.

I was riding my bike with no shoes on.

I fell over and the handlebar turned and hit me square in the face. I had an open wound on my mouth for a few days. The doctor said I could get it stiched but I was too scarred. lol get it scarred

Also the scar is there. It looked like mouth herpies when I first got it.

Once when I was a baby, I was crying and one of our cats tried to pick me up with her teeth. It left a huuuge scar on my scalp, my hair hides it though.

My brother lit my arm on fire when we were very young. It didn't do much besides leave a spot of a very darker shade of my skin color right below my elbow. Thank god my mom walked in when she did.

when I was like 2 years old I spilled a cup of coffee on my arm, and got a huge scar

now (14 years later or so) it's still there, about 2 inches in diameter, right below my palm on my forearm

one on my forehead (which is why i keep my hair long enough to cover it) from when i was a baby. i basically nailed my head on the edge of a sofa (a metal part, duh)

one on my cheek from who knows what

some on the inside of my mouth from one of these

one almost exactly in the middle of my left palm because i was being a dumbass with scissors

I has a ring on my right hand from a bike accident when I was 12.
other than that. nothin big i think >.>

Two moles on my back were assessed to be the beginnings of malignant melanoma. They were removed, and there are two rubbery dark spots on my back now.

Just a nearly-invisible ankle scar from a severe rope burn.

i have a keliod on my chest from the same thing... except mine wasn't malignant

One on my knee where I gored it to the bone on a rock, one on my eyebrow from getting hit by a surf board thing in a pool (my eyebrow grew back luckely) and tons all over me from chicken pox.

I literally nailed my foot through as a kid; luckily it left no scar. Iono why.

Other than that, no terrible injuries, only one time I touched the stove and left it for about four seconds, at which point I rolled on the floor screaming AAAAAAAAA HAND ON FIRE HAND ON FIRE

On my thigh. I tripped on my keys while playing football.

also in before voldemort

One on my right middle finger from trying to sharpen a stick so I could kill a fish.

And another on my left arm from my dog biting me.

Edit: And oh yeah, one on my left foot from stepping on a piece of glass from a broken bottle when I was 4 or 5.

I got one on my chin from when Hazmeister and I were playing Power Rangers (we were REALLY young.) He picked me up by the feet and started swinging me around. It was fun until I hit my chin on the stonething that we put our fireplace one, and had to go to ospital for it. Its now only an inch long.

I also have an almost invisible one from running into the back wall of our house. it has one of those pebble dash things, where they stick stones into the wall and cement it. I was running to the door and missed.

right index finger -- smashed in door hinge

had to go to hospital, get nose drugs, get stitches


left thumb -- gust of wind attacked a balloon, string was torn from thumb
