Must Read All Users Who submit Games, Game Maker 6 and 7 problems

please, remember, not everyone has the latest computers, i can't play any games made with game maker 6 or 7 game maker 5 and lower the games factory and multimedia fusion and any later versions of those two i said after game maker are ok

Or atleast post the specs of your PC. I have a slightly upgraded PC that is 4 years old, and runs OK with most fangames.

no one is going to downgrade their software just so that one person could play a fangame.

GM 7 is no go for me because of DX3D

...So are you asking if there's a way you could get your computer to play these games? Or are you saying you want people not to use GM6/7 because you can't play games made with those programs?

If it's the latter, I must say that that request is highly unreasonable, and that no one would heed it anyway. If it's the former, then you should post your computers' specs, as Hazmeister said, since maybe you could upgrade your computer to be able to play them; if that's not possible, you would either have to get a new computer or just not be able to play games made with GM 6/7.

If not that, then you'll just have to settle for not playing GM 6/7 games.

And no one's going to make any less of those games just because your computer can't play them. Furthermore, saying that games aren't good just because they're made with those programs (as some of your post(s) in other topic(s) seemed to imply) is downright preposterous, since the problem's just on your computer's end.

In short, you have no grounds for filing a complaint, and may as well stop.

I have Windows 98 SE and GM stuff works fine. There must be something wrong with your computer...

Did you download DirectX version 8 or higher? You need that for GM6/7.
