NOTE TO MODS: YOSHIMAN ALREADY GAVE ME THE OKAY FOR THIS SO DON'T DELETE THE TOPIC K THXFor the two of you that still remember, I released a demo of my (at this point, retooled 1000x over) fighting engine for RyuFox Fighters and proceeded to make several small mini fighting games with it, namely:
Delichan vs. Hanyou -
http://gdarcade.taloncrossing.com/datafile...DelicHanyou.exeLuigifan vs. Hanyou -
http://gdarcade.taloncrossing.com/datafile...LuigiFanyou.exeLuigifan's Decoys -
http://gdarcade.taloncrossing.com/datafile...FanyouEVENT.exeHanyou vs. Kitsune -
http://gdarcade.taloncrossing.com/datafile...nyouKitsune.exeThese are all fairly old, but for some reason, I feel like doing something with them again. I've returned for a second go at this because I'm feeling strangely generous and I'm bored.
However, I have a few requirements. The first being that I will only do these ONE at a time.
Subsequent Requirements include:
-A spritesheet - I need one complete with a stance, walk/run (doesn't matter which), primary attack, secondary attack, special attack (like a projectile or something, doesn't have to be though), super attack, taunt, and getting hit. If you have your NO Body spritesheets handy, these are acceptable. If you have any other sheets handy, make sure they're of a reasonable size. I don't want to see Ryus and Kens fighting something about Delichan's size.
-Moves - I need very detailed descriptions of your moves. Sure, everyone can kick and punch, but are there any special twists to it? Can your character release fire from one of their punches every 1 in 8 times they do it? Something to that effect. On that note, keep your attacks reasonable. I'm not going to listen to stuff like "mi caracter can go ssj2603846970892347635890675890547 and open up da pitz ov hel and kil ma enumi wit wun hit rfol". Give detailed examples of what you want your supers to do, but don't be unreasonable.
-Opponent - You may select any MFGGer or any other existing character to go up against. If you select another MFGGer, get with him or her and plan out moves. If you select an existing video game character, come up with moves for them.
-Stage - Where do you want to fight? I know three of the fights I made involved getting hit by moving traffic, but let's be real. I don't think everyone wants to play in the street. Be creative. Does the stage autoscroll? Are there knockable obstacles in the stage? Are there things for you to slip on and lose balance? Conveyor belts, perhaps? Warp pipes?! Be creative, but again, don't be unreasonable.
-Special Rules - You DON'T have to do these. But this is just a possibility. If you want a good clean fight, say it and that's what you'll get. But if you want an event match like LuigiFan's, be specific and say what specific rules need to be in place for you to win.
-Music and Voices - This is entirely up to me, depending on what I think fits the overall theme of your stage and the characters. If I think your character sounds like a kid, deal with it, he's getting a kid's voice.
Now for the finale, in red.
The first person to submit everything I asked for following this post and subsequent opening posts gets the game. You must post what I asked for from Spritesheet, Moves, Opponent, Stage, and Special Rules in order for your post to qualify.AN EXAMPLE SINCE NO ONE LIKES TO READ That is all. Happy posting and enjoy the demos again!
Edit: For those who are quick to cry "omg it no work

((((", install the CNC DLLs in the location on your computer you download these to.
