Fan Game Design Sins, What really annoys you?

I for one, hate the lack of joypad controls, as it usually only takes a short time to implement. I also hate games in titchy windows, which then look blocky when in full screen. Other than that, I wish people could master a trick Ninendo did, where if an object is out of view, it would be inactive, as to get the possible rate of play out of hardware. -------------------- http://steamcommunity.com/id/hazmeister

Standard Member Group: Banned Posts: 52997 Member No.: 10 Joined: 13-October 03 Status: (71582612m)	joypad controls do not take just a short while because you have to have a joypad yourself to ensure your controls don't bloody suck ass; which I don't, so I can't And because I cannot find a single extension that actually works and lets the player specify input and let me check EXACTLY WHICH KEY the user presses and use the key name in expressions, I can't add half-decent input into any of my games anyway

do you not understand that unless I physically have a literal joypad myself, I cannot test to be sure that I didn't just make R the button to move right, Right Control-Pad jump and X the slide button

It's an external application, not a Plugin.

Nonono, this program maps keyboard buttons to the joypad.

For example: using a GRAVIS SUPER DUPER GAMERPAD DELUXE to play... uh... Half-life 2.

DRACO, IT IS AN EXTERNAL APPLICATION THAT DOESN'T CONCERN YOU! IT'S ONLY USED BY THE PERSON WHO WANTS TO USE A JOYPAD INSTAID OF A KEYBOARD, NOT YOU, THEY SET IT UP, NOT YOU.

THERE IS A REALLY GOOD CHANCE YOU DID NOT MAKE AN SSB GAME SO ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING OTHER THAN CHANGING THE DEFAULT GM TUTORIALS GRAPHICS OK
