Making wall-jumping harder then pulling off a fatality with Ryu in Sonic 2.

And Leap of Faith isn't too bad, unless they're using the earlier mentioned "LOL RESTART ON TOUCH OMG" I mean, if I have a whole buncha lives and the level isn't HUGE HUGE HUGE, then I can handle a little trial and error.

Sad thing is, I have commited almost all these sins. Anyway,

Lack of story is frustrating. It also is a massive PAIN when people use the same VGMusic MIDIs, the same sprites, and the same game engine as nearly everyone else. I also dislike "possesed ? Blocks"

I don't know if anyone mentioned this already, but games that are hard for the wrong reasons get on my nerves. Examples of this are games in which you have an enemy almost touching you at the very start of a level, or games where you have to know the layout of the level in advance in order not to be killed (or where you get automatic death if you happen to take a wrong path without proper warning), or games whose major points of difficulty are centered around some out-of-place gimmick.

(I actually have a recently-submitted fangame in mind when saying these things, and I'll probably review that game soon.)
