Japanese:

Pros :
Two bowsers in world D-4 (that scared me)
Very decent level disign with many tricks
An addon to the classic
Cons :
A total rip off to the classic
The only new enemys are recolors
Hard

American :
A variaty of new enemys
Very first ragdoll machanics
Four players to select
Cons :
A rip off to arabs in dream world (i didnt make that up, some one else did)
Not all the old mario fans liked it
The boss is an allergetic overgrown frog

You be the judge

anyway they are both very different games. smb2usa is a big improvement over the original doki doki panic. smb2jap is cool because it's more smb1, which is good. they are however quite different in terms of gameplay and I really don't see why we have to compare them every other month

The jap one wasn't original...

It was a rehash of the first game with harder levels.

I use one character all the time for the entire game. It's nice to do it with every character, but especially Princess. Float crouching is fun!
