My Wii is really noisy when a disk is in it, enough to distract me from playing a game. The noise is the same volume, if not, louder than the game. Is this normal? Should I call Nintendo?

It sounds a little louder than this, but you'll get the point

turn up your volume

the wii's a noisy console already, so unless you have the TV up really high and can still hear it, it's probably better to ignore it

EDIT: the one in the video sounds like it has major vibration issues... if yours has that same buzzing sound then you should probably send it n

Mine occasionally makes vibrating sounds, but I found that it sometimes goes away if I move it somewhere else...

Holy crap, that is not the sound that should be coming out of that thing.

Have you tried putting it in different positions? Standing it vertically in the stand?

I've been having this problem for about 3 months now and the sound does exactly like in the video exept it buzzes in and out. Like this, RRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrRRRRRRRRrrrrrrr. Is this normal. It still makes the noise no matter what position its in. I just got Metroid Prime 3 so I wanna play it before sending it in if it comes to that. Is it a serious enough issue? I may consider looking in to sending it in for repairs. Its the disk drive making the noise, not anything else

It is serious if you don't want to risk damaging your new game to play it.

By now, you've most likely hit a point where you can't fix it yourself. I would advise calling Nintendo's tech and asking about it (though I've never phoned them myself, I've never had a problem, so I wouldn't know about the validity of them answering questions).
