Let's say I made a game with some videos that can play during the game. I don't want players to open the videos before they play the game and get them ingame, so how do I keep the files hidden?

Right click on the file you want to hide, click Properties, then check the box that says Hidden.

of course that's easily defeatable since some people (like me) use the folder option to unhide hidden folders/files

it would probably be better to extract them to the Temp directory since fewer people bother looking there

another way would be to encrypt the video files, with the only way of viewing them being in-game, when the game uses the key to decrypt the files
