Quicky asked you to permaban me and Draco, didn't bother explaining why, and you did it anyway?

What were you thinking, man? You should never ban someone without having a good reason!

If Quicky wants somebody banned he probably got a good reason.

So what reason does he have for banning me?

Right, so does that mean he can ban people for no good reason?

As far as I know, I didn't do anything wrong. Quicky's being incredibly irresponsible here.

Eh I don't know really, ask him.
Whoever as Mikel said even if he got no good reason he still got the right to ban you because it's his channel, when something is yours you can do whatever you want.

So, by your logic, is it acceptable to shoot someone if the gun you use belongs to you?

You know, Dann, instead of sitting in this topic, complaining about the fact that you're banned and getting absolutely nothing done, other than an argument, you could just simply ask Quicky himself, rather than harping on MikeL.

I already PM'd Quicky on the matter.

Although I must admit, I doubt he'll reply.

By my logic if you got a car and you don't want to give Mr. James you can just tell James to gtfo and lock the door.

But if you were arrested for running over "Mr. James", you can't get away by saying "hurr it's my car I can do what I want with it."

If you can't be responsible, then you shouldn't be in charge.

mr. james isn't voluntarily participating in anything in this situation

very much like the person being shot in your previous example isn't participating (or being forbidden to participate) in the use of the gun that you own.

Also your KILLING examples got nothing to do with what I said because I was comparing Mr. James to Quicky banning you from IRC.
Quicky didn't kill you he just wants you out of the IRC.

We should permaban people who join, say hi, and leave less than a minute later.

if we get that IRCop group we have a 3 strike system in place, so that if you do it 3 times you get a ban.. unless you're connection has gone retarded.

Quicky probobly popped back on his computer after you did something against the rules of the chat, and you were gone and had not the opportunity to ban you, so he changed the topic to reflect that.

Thus having another OP ban you if you entered.
