On the last day of my vacation, I started on my big dream... a yoshi's island engine. From the moment I started gamemaking, I always wanted to make a YI game, since it was my favorite game from my childhood. Untill now, I've never been able to create a good engine, since I never was capable of recreating the complex movement of Yoshi untill now... For now: Yoshi with all his movements Egg-shooting Hills Jump-trough platforms Rotating jump-trough platforms Rotating jump-trough platform that only rotate when yoshi stands upon it Shyguys ?-Cloud with starits Piranha Plant Controls: Left/Right: Move Up: Look up Down: Duck/Groundpound (in air) Space: Use tongue/Spit enemy Shift: Jump/(Hold to hover in air) Control: Aim/Shoot I hope you guys like it and I hope I can release a game from it soon, or maybe an open-source. He meant that it would be OVERUSED.
You don't have to understand it to make a game out of the Ultramario Engine.
