Rather than making a new model every few months it would be a lot easier and less confusing for customers if they made one standard model that had some form of removable memory.

Well, this'd more than make a nice replacement for my broken iPod. I just hope it comes in the old white color as well. It looks too much like an iPhone. Also iPod Classic...eh, does anybody actually have 40,000 songs?

IMO iPods would be a much greater if they supported more than just the outdated and idiotic format of MP3 without the installation of Rockbox. Especially considering, iirc, Rockbox only works on older versions of the iPod.

the screen's no problem, but neither hard drives nor flash memory are flexible

the former will never be, the latter would lose a lot of its storage density if it was (back to 2MB mp3 players lol)

until we get holo memory, there's no way we'll end up with an iFlex
