I lost the CD a couple weeks ago, and I can't find it. Its probably scratched up around my room somewhere. Unusable. So, is torrenting it going to be illegal? And will it give me any viruses? Torrenting is illegal, and if it has a virus depends who you get if from.

Not sure whether you meant to ask what a CD key in general is or what the specific CD key for this game is.
