NSMB Style Game Idea

I was thinking of a NSMB style game.
It's kinda just in my head at the moment.. as I have no knowledge of game creation of how to use the engines and what not.

Don't think this idea is too extreme for a Mario game tho. I just thought it'd be interesting.

Nazi's.
I was thinking throw a Nazi General Hat on Bowser and force him to enslave the Mushroom race.

It'd work perfectly.. since you have para-enemies and the tanks and etc. from the SMB3 games. Bullet Bills, Torpedo Teds(smw).. the Ships as well..

The map style and graphics for NSMB would be perfect for this idea.

I'd love to do this myself, but my imagination/abilities limit me to just being a good artist... nothing more. lol

Game design just isn't my thing. *sighs*

I love Hello's games.. although I'd like to see this with the cannons and stuff to be updated to that of NSMB.

I got it... and I must say Super Mario: Dark Horizon is nothing at all what I was intending on with my idea.

This is just horrible..

Maybe because it was bumped time after time for no proper reason.

Yeah, judging from the last posts in the topic, that's probably what happened.


Anyway, my personal opinion is that Mario and Nazis don't mix together in a game that well, for one thing because the evils of Nazism make for a considerably darker mood than that customarily found in Mario games. Also, I rather don't think Bowser's evil enough to be committed to Nazism. I understand that fangames often tend to branch out beyond norms in the series they're based on because of their unofficial character, but I'm just telling what I think about how those elements would fit together based on the overall feel of the Mario series.
