Also I tried out the Flare Gun recently. It's a pretty fun weapon and I like setting people alight with it, buuuuut I'm sticking with the shotty.

Flare puts you at a disadvantage against Scouts and Pyros plus the shotgun is much more forgiving and you kill things faster with it. Sure, Flare can help in taking out sentries and annoying Snipers but I still prefer the shotgun.






Also there is no reason to not use the axtinguisher in serious play unless you enjoy going may-lay only. (Don't give me that "but what if you're in water?" excuse, because what do you encounter more in this game? Water or Heavies?)

I enjoy the flare as my strategy consists completely of puff and airblast.

When I can't get close enough to axtinguish, I send out a flare. My aim gets better every time and though the output isn't as great as the Axtinguisher it's hilarious to watch them run straight for a medkit or something just to realize I TOOK MINICRIT DAMAGE I AM GOING TO DIE OH NO
