Team Fortress 2, and my ideas for it

It amuses me how the halo still appears above your head when you're cloaked and undisguised and acts as a beacon for enemies to melee/burn you to death.

Yeah I can't believe it hasn't been fixed yet.

Also I think that Badlands is one of the better maps for offensengineering: an hour ago I went pistol and Lv. 1 Sentry only.







I got a 22:9 k:d ratio and 3 dominations.

I've been playing offensengineer a lot lately and it is so ****ing fun.


hurr durr defense engy is boring as **** but offensengy is one of the most fun things in tf2 ):

while on offense on ctf or while the opponents are far away in other modes, yes

otherwise, it can be a lot of fun when you're the last on standing and you're switching between your shotgun, pistol, and wrench to kill people and keep your sentry/dispenser/teleporter alive

at the same time i always upgrade other engie's teleports and help with buildings too

Nah, the glow still appears even when you're disguised.

I've talked it over with several admins across a number of TF2 servers and we are making it official with our No Halos plugin.

Simply put, this plugin takes your Steam ID and checks Source OP for your bacpack. If it detects the Cheater's Lament, the plugin warns you in-game that you have 5 minutes to delete the Halo. If you delete it, you're free to keep playing. If you don't delete it in the 5 minutes, you are automatically perma-banned from the server.

Together with all the admins I've spoken to there are now 60 servers using this plugin, and more will be added.

Just remember folks. You didn't earn it.

That seems really harsh, I'd rather be permabanned from a server hosted by dicks who baw over a ****ty hat tbh.

Seriously, it's a cosmetic item that doesn't effect gameplay. If it bothers you THAT ****ing much get the "Replace the halo with nothing" skin.

Do NOT make people who didn't use the idler delete something because you didn't get a fcuking hat out of an outside program.

Honestly, the halo is a ****ing cosmetic item. Anyone who complains about the damn thing is just upset that their idler didn't give them a hat.
