Team Fortress 2, and my ideas for it

So I've been using bonk more often since I found out it saves lives from burning damage <3

just something that might be useful to know


...otherwise i really just use bonk to be a distraction/meatshield/goof off by drinking it and crouch side strafe 83c

you should ban all weapons that kill anyone in one hit!

ie sniper rifle/huntsman, spys knife!

make sure you ban all the weapons that hurt people

Thinking that the only thing that should be banned is Sandman. At least in a normal game you have teammates to repel the Scout but if you get stunned and you're all alone... yeah.


Oh yeah and I use:

Kritz: Heal taunt and constant crits are nice, especially with a Heavy or Soldier. I'll switch to Medigun if we need invincibility though.

Sandvich: I just like going around with it and healing myself/teammates/enemies.

Axtinguisher: More useful than Fire Axe.

Flare Gun: Only if I feel like messing around. Most of the time I use the shotgun.

Dead Ringer: Damage reduction, puts out fire and tricks the enemy into thinking you died when used right, especially when getting past a thick chokepoint with the damage reduction? Yes.

C&D: Only when my team is losing and I'm in a bad mood. I hide near the opposing engineer and mess with his mind in text chat/voice commands disguised as him.

Bonk!: Either lets me get past a sentry/sticky trap/etc. or distracts the enemy team/sentry for my team to destroy them/it or to get behind enemy lines. Also to save myself from afterburn. I don't use this and the FAN at the same time.

FAN: Knockback on both me and the enemy has saved me countless times and it's pretty powerful. I always use the pistol with it to finish off wounded enemies or the bat if I think it's alright.

Pyro's Beanie: durp

f-a-n leads to luck victory in 1v1 and makes unstoppable knockback which will **** you over 100% of the time in 1v1

airblast should theoretically be banned because of this prospect too, actually

blutsauger gives you free healing that more often than not overcomes whatever damage you're giving to the medic while you take massive damage from it. in 1v1 there's no teammates to help fire on the medic to take him out as is usually needed to kill a blutsauger medic.

Yeah it can screw you over, most of the time. Even worse if they have a pistol.

I am not banning the poofer because even if you get airblasted you take no damage from it and it spends flamer ammo. Sure, you're a sitting duck after you land and vulnerable to the fire's range but really now. Just shoot the piero.

It also has a lower hp regen so if you do some damage from a distance he'll be healing slower. Just try to stay out of his needles and use your good guns. Like a launcher of any kind. Or sneak up on him and try using guerrilla tactics.


Anyone else have an argument about what we should/shouldn't ban?

A good margin of the classes do not have good long range options. While it is true that the medic's self-healing rate has been lowered when equipped with the Blutsauger, he'd still be gaining a lot more HP overall.

Huntsman possibly?

why is that?

Kills most classes far too easily from just about any distance.

Full charged shots will nail any of the 125 HP classes, while headshots screw anything over.
