True. Only Sniper and Revolver Spy have the only good long range weapons. Everyone else sucks from more than medium range shooting. But then again, there are ways to deal with blut medics.

And yes, what is your argument to consider banning the lucksman skillsman ****sman huntsman?

Also, after some matches with phage earlier I can say that it'd be fine were the blutsauger allowed. I actually use the normal syringe now because I <3 the regen rate, but I found he didn't do all that much better with the bluts.


Another thing he did that at first I thought should be banned is build a sentry and upgrade it to level 3-- I mean, in this case the engineer could win an easy victory. Then I sorta realized it's entirely the other player's fault if they LET the engineer build it up.


Not to mention, the way most arena maps are built allows for finding a blindspot and taking out the sentry as any class.

Except long range. And damage fluctuates between 100-130 when fully charged. Full charge headshot will kill anyone that isn't overhealed to +361 though, good point.


Bodyshot and surviving 125HP classes will get hosed by the SMG but then again some people can't aim worth anything and it can be dodged sometimes.



Also Ravan makes some good points, but it really is the enemy's fault if he lets the engy gets to Lv. 3.

Don't ban it, It's ridiculously easy to dodge at long range (Especially 1v1) and at closer ranges you should be able easily kill the 125 hp sniper anyway.

PS I'm not going to play sniper, I just don't think it poses any advantage over a sniper rifle in a 1v1 tourney anyway.

You are right about being wrong: it uses the same hitboxes as rockets and fire making it piss easy to use when compared to the rifle.

Initially my idea was "You can build it, but no upgrading" but yeah I realized it takes them a damn long time to get it upgraded in a one on one match on an arena map, and if you can't destroy it or kill them before then it is ENTIRELY your fault.

sniper outright seems banworthy, it's literally nearly impossible to stop a good sniper rifle user on an arena map going solo and the huntsman hitbox is ****ed up to hell and its extremely easy to use

Try youtube, but as an ex-prosnipah I can tell you that you can sometimes get lucky headshots due to lag compensation, and 1 out of 10 headshots will fail and count as a bodyshot.

But other than that the rifle is the only one that has some problems with the hitboxes, the other bullet based weapons don't discriminate against body parts and the Ambadsador suffers from the same problem.

I don't know I think if you guys are doing 1v1s then it should be done with the same classes against each other (maybe same unlocks too). That way you guys can't complain about unbalance or anything except for skill differences.

because yeah different class matchups in 1v1 are going to work differently and some classes are naturally going to be better against other classes

I tried suggesting that some time ago but yeah, skill differences. In the end it will all come down to good/bad luck and skill no matter the classes, anyways.
