Unlocks, seeing as some people are posting about them.
Blutsauger: Not since the update, as the regen rate now essentially cancels out flame damage so if you can escape a pyro and use it in combination with the kritz, you can easily survive.
Kritzkrieg: Always as I know a fair few people who can work wonders with one, but Uber is sometimes necessary to equip (for, say, a heavily tanked stage 3 dustbowl)
Ubersaw: Always. Can't think of a reason to go back aside from the speed.
Backburner: Never unless I want to incite some rage and there are ubers to be used, as airblasting is my new joy.
Flare Gun: Only used on maps like goldrush, where snipers CAN run wild but are vulnerable.
Axtinguisher: Never left home without it.
Natascha: Half and half on this one. I used to always use Natascha after they fixed it completely, but nowadays Sasha as the damage is so much nicer when you have a medic.
Sandvich: Always, now medics can be saved easily.
KGB: Torn between at the moment, as the tauntkill, while not useful, can have its hilarious moments.
FaN: Rarely used, as against other scouts you need a semi to good aim to deck them fast, and anything else the reload can be a killer. Also, the updated knockback means that to push back, say, a heavy, you need to be point blank, not a good idea firing at a spun up heavy just to push him back a bit.
Bonk: Never, unless friends with kritz or ubers want the way opened.
Sandman: Only sometimes, as the ball can be still useful for sniping kritz and incoming, ready-to-pop ubers. Otherwise, being made of paper is not fun.
Huntsman: Location based. On maps like the latter stages of dustbowl it's a godsend for me, as there's corridors perfect for the spam.
Jarate: Only if I use the huntsman, as I'm gonna be closer anyway.
Razorback: If I'm usingthe rifle, I'm gonna be so far way the SMG is gonna be pish and the Jarate is gonna somewhat hard to aim. Besides, what's not to like about having a ffine line against instant spy death?
Ambassador: Once again, map based. I only tend to use it on badwater and granary, as both have wide open areas for easy aiming. Besides, the normal revolver is SO much better IMO because of the damage.
Cloak and Dagger: Once again, map based. I'll use it for getting people's sentry bases (telefragging method) and waiting for snipers to ambassador, but otherwise it's usually DR.
Dead Ringer: My standard nowadays on 5CP and defending, as you can stave off the silliest of deaths (IE. demospam) so easily, and it makes people rage if they can never be certain you're actually dead.
Cheater's Lament: Only on Pyro, Medic and Heavy, because it looks 'right' for them. Only hat, as well.
Medal: Of course, Only soldier item I have.

I tried that once.
But I wasn't far enough away from him, so...

Force-a-Nature: NO. Everyone who plays FaN scout spends half their time reloading when they could be shooting. Plus the knockback is insignificant now.
Bonk! Energy Drink: NO. Sentries and snipers need tough love. If I want a drink I'll go Demoman.
The Sandman: NO. **** 95 HP, let alone 65 in Arena matches.
Backburner: NO. I like airblast, tyvm.
Flare Gun: YES. Especially now that it minicrits on the second hit it's such an asshole weapon and I love it
Axtinguisher: YES. Burn, blast, and batter SWING!
Natascha: NO. I like more damage.
Sandvich: YES. More of a preferential choice than a gameplay one. I like to have it for when I feel silly.
Killing Gloves of Boxing: YES. Bamfing myself a kritz is glorious, especially while defending pl. It goes on, and on, and on
Blutsauger: YES. I'll probably be changing back now that they're equal. I like to get health on the go instead of aiming for it.
Kritzkrieg: NO. I find invulns a lot more useful.
Ubersaw: YES. I need it to charge my damn medigun since it takes forever. So I nail a cheap shot when I can. Especially Spies.
The Huntsman: NO. I find it easier to actually snipe with the rifle. Though I do pull it out occasionally to battlesnipe with Jarate.
Jarate: YES. Since I don't usually roll with the Huntsman, it's useful for close-range so I can just kukri/noscope them.
The Razorback: YES. I use it all the time because it's the most useful weapon ever and I love giving up a loadout slot to defend against one class.
The Ambassador: NO. I like shooting faster and hurting more. Plus I prefer the Revolver's sound.
The Cloak and Dagger: YES. Fits my style of sneaky *******ing perfectly.
The Dead Ringer: NO. I like to cloak of my own volition, and the Cloak and Dagger's stay invisible forever trick appeals more to me.
The Soldier's Stash: YES. Someone is going to maggotown and it isn't me.
Gentle Manne's Service Medal: YES. True patriot, *****es.
imo on the tournament: either go vanilla or don't ban anything. Anyone complaining about certain weapons is probably trying to save his/her ass from them when the tourney arrives.
