I got a bunch of pyro achievments, and I've played Turbine and Goldrush.

Is the Backburner worth using? Because I really like the Compressed air thing.

it was, but now it lost the +50 HP it used to give and as such compressed air is more of a pro than all crits from behind if you have the axetinguisher to finish off high HP foes

Alright, so the sniper was built as a support class, AKA giving teammates cover as they do something, like cap a point. The problem I have with snipers however, is that most of them are too far away to actually cover teammates, or that they can't cover their mates because of objects in the way. So I thought of this. A rifle unlock for the snoipah. Not a scoped one with bolt-action, but a normal rifle, with maybe a clip of 6 boolets and 36 spares. It has revolver accuracy and does a bit more damage than it, but maybe if you hold down MOUSE2 you can have sniper rifle accuracy with the downside that you can't see as far and you still move slow. The way this helps the sniper is that now he can be closer to teammates and just stand on a nearby balcony and cover them. It could also grant the sniper a health boost to keep him alive in the field longer.

What do you guys think?

I always considered the Sniper mostly a defense class (Keeping enemies from pushing the cart/capturing points/entering your base), and the idea of giving the sniper more offensive power sounds like an excellent idea.

I'd probably play as a sniper sometimes if this were to happen.

i had this idea ages ago except it completely reworked the sniper class, changing him into the Rifleman, with the Sniper Rifle as his alt primary weapon (with some nerfs) and an automatic rifle with a burst fire option for right click and 150 health. Sniper Rifle equip would put him back at 125 HP. He'd keep his SMG (maybe buffed a little) and Kukri, as well as look however.

and if you are wondering why it's stupid it's because it ruins the fact that he is a sniper

the soldier having a rifle (M1 Garand no scope or zoom) replace his shotgun would be more acceptable

Dictionary.com
>>to shoot at individuals as opportunity offers from a concealed or distant position

So not the scope removal would classify him as not a sniper, but rather if he started fighting alongside people in the frontlines. Therefore, he can still be a sniper with no scope if he's hidden/far away.

What's a sniper without a SNIPER RIFLE

Think about it.

Snipers dont "need" scopes.

A rifle that is easier to use at closer ranges, but not as powerful at long ranges still means the sniper is a support class, but he can go about it in a different way.

you do realize by removing the scope it just weakens his sniping skills

you can easily snipe from any range with the scope

and what i mean is if you want a more mid range based sniper you can just do that fine with the sniper rifle right now.

You could be credit to team by hanging around them and making enemies easier to finish off for them.
