On topic on offensive engy, I think a wrench that erects buildings faster at the cost of half power when whacking someone would be good, since the sentry gun is pretty much what makes an offensive engy.

Uhm, there's no real downsite on that.

A wrench that didn't do any damage at all but erected faster would make it more even as you wouldn't be able to fight spies.

because last i knew shotgun shells still hurt spies

imo the sentry gun is defensive

Sentries are ideal for checkpoints, ie, making points where the enemy can't pass and you're safe. Offensive Engineers are crusial, yet people don't seem to realize.

I say it'll be BATTLE ENGIE! And since the characters only get 3 weapon upgrades, it'll be his shotgun, pistol, and wrench. I hope I'm wrong simply because I want to see a flamethrower sentry.

And here's my prediction for the update order:
Spy, scout, demoman, sniper, soldier, engineer.

offensive engineering mostly is to help the offense come to the cp faster with teles

but if you build an sentry real fast at a good spot you can cripple or distract the defense for a while so you can help your team capture easier

so they can't do anything related to a class without them being the next update?

maybe the demo was just the best choice to show the dramatic change from the first design to the final design, he seems to have changed quite a lot

You can't be completely sure on that since you're basing that pattern on what's been released so far and they've only gone through that once. They might aswell do Offense now.
