Team Fortress 2, and my ideas for it

So guys, I'm going to try make a story using g-mod using TF2 characters and places for a children's book assignment I have for art.

I only need g-mod and also my computer to run windows again!

What there's CP server in the 20s in terms of ping over here in europe.
I play gravelpit and dustbowl all the time.
Of course they're pubs but they got competent players on them sometimes.

Playing on invite only tf2 servers is godly but yeah

an interesting thing is most of the time nobody wants to play your custom unless its hilariously long like lazytown or warpath or it's an orange map or a fun map like mario kart


its very rare that good customs maps get popular like turbine, mach4 or steel (it may be consusing at first but it really is decent)

MARIO_KART is cool though ;>

well turbine is great for the fact that you need more support than just engies to defend the intel

unlike other maps like mach4 and 2fort

I've never understood the appeal in these. I mean I love them myself but can't seem to figure out why. :/

this one engineer had a million sentries and i sapped them all on one mario kart map so i suppose it's ok maybe?

Snipers gets killed by pyros, spies and whatnot anyways.
That map is not meant to be played in serious buisness.

Don't forget scouts, can't go wrong with Scouts Vs Snipers (unless they get lucky with their Kukri, which seems to happen a lot).

God I hate their minigun or whatever, I can't kill them at all because there's like a million snipers with miniguns.

I vote for nerfing the snipers on close range! But then again, they're already nerfed enough on balanced maps :c

It fires fast so it's a minigun thing to me!

Anyways yes snipers gets killed by pyros because backburners and flareguns. Unless you suck as pyro.

do you know what the definition of a minigun even is

you're playing against ****ty snipers if you're killing them with the flares (WHY WOULD YOU EVEN USE THAT THING except in arena i guess) because they're really easy to dodge at long range. backburner is somewhat valid but pyros usually target large groups/individuals in obscure places/flanking points, which are usually not where snipers will be.

We were talking MARIO_KART, right? Because then you can easily sneak up on them on a spot with like 1-3 snipers.
No I don't kill them with the flaregun but usually all the pyros on the team instant-shoot at them when they see them so they usually end up dying from massive flaregun rape.
