Some were removed, and opened for reservation once again. (Marked with red color.) Due to me not seeing them pass Quality Control, if you have any argumentations or disagreements about me removing things that you think shouldn't have been removed, feel free to say so.
I tried blending a few tiles myself, but there are still many left, if you want to help, go ahead!
This is the general idea of how it works:1) You post the number of the tiles you want to reserve.(You may not have more than 3 reserved tiles at the same time. You may not reserve a reserved tile. Note that if you have reserved a tile, and no progress has been shown within a week, the tile will once again become open for someone else to reserve.)
2) You draw the pixelart upon the tiles you requested.(You may not use ripped graphics.)
3) You post the image of the pixelart you've done upon your tiles.(".jpg" files are not acceptable. Try not to post your tiles put onto the grid, but rather the tiles you've reserved alone. They will be added on the big piece by the administration of the pixel collab project.)
Quality control may result in certail tiles may be declined due to:1) Lack of quality.(You do not have to be a pixelmaster, but you do have to put some effort into your work.)
2) Lack of content.(If you make a excellent piece of grass, that's good. But try to add something more to keep it's content interesting. Some flowers, someone walking, try to add more content to ensure your entry remains interesting.)
3) Ripped/Stolen stuff.(The meaning of this project is to be creative. Certain edits may be allowed, depending on how much they're edited.)
4) Object that covers too much of surrounding tiles that you have not reserved.(If your pixelart covers a bit of the surrounding tiles, that's okay. But when it covers up more than 50% of surrounding tiles, youve gone too far.)
Hints and tips:1) Break the grid.(Try to make things look nice and smooth instead of just a huge grid.)
2) Think 3D.(The whole point of isometric pixelart is to give it a 3D-ish feel. Keep that in mind.)
3) Make sure your tiles blend.(If two tiles that lay next to eachother contains diffrent scenery, it'll look a lot better if they somehow blend together, so they do not look entirely out of place.)
Most important thing,
BLEND THE TILESThanks to Citrus for starting this, and Shaw for letting me take control (he was the leader on the
2nd attempt).
Let this be the 3rd and final attempt! Please add on! But follow the rules and guidelines.[QUOTE]Something I whipped together due to the wallpaper issue, hopefully something wich can help several members and their contributions.
