Here is my finished work for D.

Note, you have the revised platform and tiles. You also can see the cursor from Disgaea: Hour of Darkness! I tried using a horrible way to make the yellow look somewhat transparent on the grass.

Anyways, this looks awesome, however, I'm too lazy to read the whole topic. Is there a point to this? :P

the point to making this Collab is to have fun/show off your spriting skills/start complaining about wallpaper tiles.

Nah, just kidding. I guess we're doing it for fun.

Look, I'll be honest with you, this isn't going to be completed. Unless the WIP tiles get finished I can't see this getting any further - there's just nothing worthwhile that you can do with the remaining spaces. You can't really break the grid with them, whatever you do won't match and there's probably not that many ideas that could be incorparated into those sections anyway.

Moving this topic to a sub-forum won't get it done faster. The GC's been the most active board this last week and still nothing's been done. Best just to leave it and move on, possibly coming back when we've got some inspired new pixel artists willing to finish this off. It might not be good, but it's good enough.

In the mean time I was thinking that perhaps a Super Mario Galaxy iso comp would be interesting... should certainly break the grid if done well.
