Nona and ghost detective, ~original works~

These are some original characters for a comic I want to do sometime. Nona Hawkins and her unnamed ghost detective pal, who I'm temporarily calling Holmie (as in Holmes). To sum up the story, Nona has found a cursed antique pocket watch which Holmie (who was a master detective when he was alive) is bound to, and she must help him solve enough crimes to free his spirit from the curse (it's one of those ironic curses) or she's stuck with him and the watch for life. She's the only one who can see or hear Holmie, so she has to constantly be all Hikaru-No-Go and work together with Holmie to solve mysteries, which she eventually becomes better at doing herself. The dark magic and nature of the curse might also come into the story later.

A note on the drawing itself, I'm proud of this one because I was able to do it all in OC without sketching anything out first.

Oh yeah, and if anyone has noticed, this character was based on my Phoenix Wright fan-character, who I've been striving to make more original over the past few months.

Only ... one reply? I dunno about you but I love this picture, has gotta be my favorite picture of Nona I've seen from Fanny

I think it'll be really awesome if you turn this into a scene with a background too, it'll have more impact :)
