Oh my god, you guys are seriously overreacting about the issue regarding girls, which is pretty irrelevant to the general post.

But really, you shouldn't hit back, girl or boy. I know it's hard at times, but try to learn to control your anger. Don't stoop to their level.
Also, when people provoke you and you show it, you're practically spoon-feeding them. They love it when you're angry.

Yes, people are going to antagonize you. People are generally asses like that, so you don't stoop to their level as Quickie-la said.

Unless I'm misreading this, you shouldn't go around antagonizing people yourself just to get a rise out of them for what they did to you. It makes you look like an effing hypocrite.

I mean, just laugh a little and that's how things go. I remember someone flinging a golf-ball at my forehead, which hurt a lot, but as everyone in the hallway laughed at me, I just thought "Heh, it actually would've looked pretty funny seeing someone being hit by a golf-ball" and started laughing myself.

Well uhhh, CD, my first day was kinda like that too but now I got lotsa friends and anybody who gets in my way gets a punch in return, so all I can say is...

people just shouldn't hit people, rather than justifying hitting with more hitting.

the girl shouldn't have started that little cat fight of yours, but what i'm concernced about is whether you were just PMSing (i understand you are a guy okay) or whether you were actually trying to be "fair". (i'm also concerned about your maturity level for being in your second year of high school.)

you say she hit you, and you "punch-kicked" her in return? now, let's be honest. while anyone who believed sasuke's knight-in-shining-armor act is obviously a total idiot, let's face it: most girls can't fight. or at least, most won't. they'll pull your hair out and claw at your face, but what you did was uncalled for. i'm basically imagining some whimp slapping you upside the head, and getting mauled in the stomach for it-- or something along those lines. and i'm probably right.

Hey, I just wanna throw my two cents in here. Hitting someone just because they hit you, albeit a natural reaction, is not really justifiable unless they're beating on you and you need to get away.

I understand the urge to hit someone after having a ****ty day, but actually allowing it to happen is something else altogether.
Refrain from hitting someone, next time.

I wouldn't find that by any means funny, and quite frankly, I'm pretty certain that I, and probably a majority of other individuals, would go on a rampage or at least be angry about something like that.

You don't let people pick on you and just laugh it off. There's a such thing as taking action, which is something I obviously failed to do when I was in school.

I can understand you were pissed and everything, but hitting back isn't the "right" thing to do. Sorry to you girls out there, but guys ARE usually stronger than girls, so this whole "guys shouldn't hit girls" thing DOES have a point to it, guys would usually, USUALLY, take a punch from a girl better then a girl would take a punch from a guy.

But anyways, whenever I don't want to mess with someone that's bugging me, what I usually do is pick them up, sling 'em across a shoulder, carry them to the other side of the room, put them down, and then walk back to where ever I was. If you're not a really big/strong guy, though, I suggest just creating some distance between you and your aggrivator.

Okay, I'm done.

Depends on the individual. I went for almost all my life attempting to "take action" in several different ways in school when I was picked on. Never worked.


High school came, I laughed all of it off. Bam, I'm popular in the school, have lots of friends, know almost everyone, and also got references for several DJing jobs with some of the kids because of certain situations where they were picking on me for playing my music and I laughed it off, and then told them all about what I do.
