I finally put this harmless suggestion into a forum. My questions:

Wouldn't it be nice?
How should a Mario Tennis Game be done?
What if Mario Tennis was on the Wii?

I'd rather see Mario Badminton. I was never too interested in Tennis.

I think it's a good idea, but why not make MFGG Golf or something?
Golf is MUCH better than tennis, but that's just my opinion!

The problem with tennis is that the ball doesn't move exactly as it seems. Making it very hard to design. You never know, one of our veterans, make take up the challenge and design an engine.

Maybe you could have it be an isometric game like Mario Tennis advance and you can program the ball to move straight ahead? and make it a 1/2 chance that the ball hits the net or something? I'm envisioning this in Game Maker.

That would make the game be based on chance, though. Which wouldn't be much fun in my opinion.

This. Anyway...

A tennis engine might be difficult to create, I could be able to do a very simple one. However, seeing as I'm trying to finish up my project and the Super Mario Classic 2 engine...

And I'm not always interested in sports games...

And I don't like releasing engines...

I probably will never get into making it, HOWEVER, with a lot of practice and knowledge of collision masks and isometic movement, you might just be able to create one of your own.

Which is much more impressive than using someone else's, right?

Falcon Punch is the result of the Sun heating fists. It drives the Blue Falcon. Heating causes destruction of water into the pain, where it then hurts, creating rain. Rain creates flowing water in tears, which can then be converted into other forms through more pain.

You all bring up very interesting comments and points. Although some of you just don't get it. Mario games were around since I was a kid and tennis is my favorite sport. Seeing them bothe together is really something else, also with the advancements in the Wii and DS, wouldn't it be pretty cool to see. I'm just saying..
